How do I get to camp?
When you leave the airport ask for directions to the “Yellowhead” or “Highway 16”. You are only a short distance (4 or 5 blocks) from the airport to the highway. When you get on Highway 16 you will head northwest for approximately 1.5 hrs to North Battleford. You will turn right just past the mall in North Battleford (you will see it shortly after you get to North Battleford. This road will take you around the city.) This road will take you to Highway 4 North.
Travel about 15 miles north and turn left on to Highway 26. You will travel past several small towns until you get to St. Walburg. The road makes a small jog through town. You will turn right at the intersection where there is a garage on both the left and on the right.
Follow Highway 26 to Loon Lake- continue to head west- DO NOT turn North on Highway 26 in Loon Lake- it will go past a beach (on the left) and you will hit a gravel road. You are now on Highway 699. Travel west on this road for 14 miles. You will see a farm on your right. This is our farm. Camp is 1/2 mile east of our house – south side of the road. There is a steel cattle gate at the road. Follow road in for about 1 mile.
